It is a poem written by Dante Alighieri. The exact date of its composition is unknown, although the most recognized opinion provides a date in the late 1304 or early 1305. It is therefore considered that the first part would have been composed in the same period as the Convivium and De Vulgari Eloquentia, while the latter part would have been written during the second and third stages, respectively.
The Divine Comedy is one of the most important works of Dante, especially the last part, the Paradise, which has a influence on the structure of the entire poem. The Paradise is composed of six cantos, each of which contains seven chapters, with some of them being divided into two.
